Though 70% of Earth’s surface is water, only approximately 2.5% is fresh water. The need to ensure drinking water for the planet is vital. In an endeavor to help replenish fresh water for the planet, scientists on the Minibex research vessel are creating a way to capture and deliver to the surface this precious sub-marine commodity without depleting or damaging the ecosystem from which it is drawn.
